This Privacy Policy describes how the Calculator app (“the App”), published by MystiCode (“we”, “us”, “our”) at mystickode.com, handles information when you use it.
Summary
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to us. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. Everything the App remembers (your settings, theme, and preferences) stays on your device.
Information We Collect
We collect nothing. The App has no backend server of its own, no sign-up, and no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
The only data the App stores is saved locally on your device using standard on-device storage, and is used solely to remember your preferences between sessions:
- Appearance settings (light/dark/system theme, accent color, background choice)
- Calculator history (kept on-device only, for your own reference)
This data is never transmitted anywhere. Uninstalling the App permanently deletes it.
Third-Party Services
The App’s Currency Converter feature fetches public, non-personalized exchange-rate data from the Frankfurter API (api.frankfurter.app), a free, open exchange-rate service. When the App makes this request:
- Only the currency code you selected (e.g., “USD”) is sent, no personal or device-identifying information.
- As with any network request, your device’s IP address is visible to that service as a normal part of internet communication. We do not control or have access to Frankfurter’s logs.
No other third-party services, SDKs, or APIs are used by the App.
Children’s Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.
Data Security
Because no personal data is collected or transmitted to us, there is no server-side data of yours for us to secure. Data stored locally on your device is protected by your device’s own operating system and security settings.
Your Choices
Since all App data lives only on your device:
- You can clear it at any time by clearing the App’s data/storage in your device settings, or by uninstalling the App.
- There is no account to delete and no request needed to “opt out,” since nothing is collected in the first place.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if we add a new feature that changes what data the App handles. The “Effective Date” above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
